Rachel
Mandula
Born
in Rumania, Transilvania in 1942. Both grandparents as well as uncles
originating from the Hungarian part of Transilvania, were extinguished
in the Shoah. After the war the remaining family moved to the grandparents'
home at "13 Haneshamot Hatehorot" (the holy souls). Rachel emigrated
to Israel in 1963. BA and MSC in social work from Tel-Aviv university.
Qualified in psychotherapy, organizational administration and family
therapy. Worked in the departement of Rehabilitation in the Institute
of the national insurance, ran the social services of the Geha psychiatric
hospital, ran for a while the social communal services of the National
health services, trained students and workers, consulted senior
administrators, developed organizational and communal projects,
co-established an organization for self-help for widows. Established
a rehabilitation center for schizophrenic women. At present is in
charge of the social services of the Schneider Children's hospital,
one of the greatest in the Middle East. Runs a private clinic for
psychotherapy, consultation and professional advice. Publisher of
articles and lectures.

Judith
Pitaru
Born in Israel, 1949. married and mother of three sons; lives in
Ramat-gan. BA Graduate in social work from Tel-Aviv university and
Msc in clinical social work from Bar-Ilan university/ In addition
has specialized in family therapy and professional consultation
to parents of children with behavioral problems in the Adler Institute
in Tel-Aviv/ Works as social worker in the institute for child development
in the Ichilov Hospital, Tel-Aviv . Has established , together with
a neurologist, the Institute for child development in the Sharon
Hospital in Petah Tikva. The later specializes in children with
developmental problems, dislexia and behavioural disturbances. Yudith
assisted in establishing the para-medical staff, worked in the institute
as a social worker doing individual and group consultations as well
as being staff manager. In addition Yudith worked in family therapy
for the organization of family therapy in Tel-aviv. Today Yudith
works as a free lance family therapist and cunsults kindergarten
teachers as well as parents of young children suffering from behavioral
problems.

Sara
Offir
Born in Rumania 1944. Married and mother to three. Head of the departement
of Rehabilitation in the Institute of National social insurance
in Petah-Tikva. In charge of granting various services to disabled
people and widows entitled to it by Law. - services of rehabilitation,
vocational training and welfare services. Training students during
their last year of study for BA in social work at the Tel-Aviv University.
Delegate of the national assembly of the organization of social
workers. Associate member of the women's urban council in Petah
Tikva. MSC in social work from Bar-0Ilan University. Graduate of
a training programme for senior managerial echelon at the Tel-Aviv
university at a joint venture of the university and the national
insurance institute.

Moshe Gottdiener
born 1934 in Hungary in Deberzen. in 1944 was deported by the Germans
to labour camps and to the "bergen Belzen" concentration camp. After
second world war , arrived in Israel to spend his first years in
"Aliat Hanoar" school where he finished his formal studies. Served
in the Israel Defence Forces as an officer, both conscription and
reserves duty. Was and Kibbutz member, married and has 3 children.
Was sales manager in packing, plastic and Metal industry later owner
and director of an insurance agency. Holder of I.Q.A Certificate
and member of M.D.R.T .

Hava Rott
Born in Israel, Petah-Tikva where she also lives at present. Daughter
to parents who survived the holocost, were born in Hungary (Transilvania)
and emigrated to Israel in 1948. Has a BEd degree in education and
educational administration. Works as teacher, deputy schoolmaster
and teachers' training. married and mother to three adult children.

Dr. Andre Matalon
Born in Egypt in 1953, married, father to three children, lives
in Petah Tikva. Emigrated to Israel from Brazil in 1975; finished
his medical studies hre. Dr. Matalon is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv
university Medical school and senior family practitioner. Serves
as head of the family medical center in Rosh Ha'Ayin and lectures
at the Medical faculty of T.A University. Dr. Matalon is in chare
of the entire training programme in the psycosocial realm, for doctors
specializing in family medicine. He himself gives a course abouth
family and the constititional approaches and attitudes in family
medicine. Dr. Matalon has great interest in the relationship between
mental and physical heath and has opened in 1997 a distinguished
clinic in this country for consultation and treatment of psycosomatic
problems.

Mira Sagiv
Born in Haifa, Israel in 1940. Today lives in Kiryat-ono. married
and mother to two married daughters. BA in English literature from
Tel-Aviv University. MA in Criminology from Bar Ilan university.
MSC in clinical social work from Bar-Ilan university graduate of
a 3 year training programme in psychotherapy and a three year programme
of advanced psychotherapy on behalf of the Israel institute of psychoanalysis.
worked for three years as secretary for the Israel Embassy in London.
worked as a criminologist in a womens prison in Ramla. Since 1985
working as a psychiatric social worker at the Geha mental hospital
in Petah-Tikva and has a private clinic as psychotherapist. In the
past president of a Bnei-Brith lodge in Kiryat Ono.

Sigal
Riboh
Born in 1946 in Constanza, Romania. married and mother of two. Graduate
of the faculty for social sciences at the Tel-Aviv University. After
her studies turned to computers. Graduated from a course of programming
followed by a course of system analysis. Worked for 18 years at
the computer center at the Israel aircraft Industry where she was
in charge in the field of financial systems, particularly costing
and budgeting. Later left for private enterprises.

Rivka Teyer
Born in Germany, immigrated to Israel in 1947. married
+ 3 children and three grandchildren, living in Tel-Aviv.
Graduated B.E.D. specializing in special education and literature.Twenty
three years of formal education first second and third grade teacher
at elementary schools in Tel-Aviv region , ministry
of culture and education.
Teaching experience in an intensive hebrew
school for adult new immigrants and immigrants's children special
emphasis on teaching
the hebrew language.
Great knowledge on the holocaust and jewish history.
Over twenty years of experience in giving lectures including my family's
chronicles
during the second world war , as depicted in my book "The
Red Forest".

Malka Berkovitz
Born
in poland , 1948. married and mother of three ; lives in kfar-saba.
MA in education counselling from Bar Ilan university.
Currently serves as Director of nursing at Sharon-Shomron health
services and is deputy director of nursing and in-service coordinator.
She is also director of home hospitalization and home I.V service
at Sharon Shomron district.
In
addition , she was a member of two medical american israeli delegations(2000-
Ukraine,2001-Moldova) organized by the jewish distribution committee.
